Method
- 500g Minced Lamb
- 1/2 White Onion (finely chopped)
- 2 Tbsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Paprika
- 1 Tbsp Ground Coriander
- 2 Minced Garlic Cloves
- Fresh Coriander (finely chopped)
- Sal & Pepper
Garlic Yogurt Ingredients
- 250g Natural Yogurt
- 1 Minced Garlic Clove
- 1/2 Lemon, juiced
- 6 Mint Leaves, finely chopped
Method
- Pre-heat the oven to 200 deg c
- Grab a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients mentioned above and mix well.
- Divide the mixture into 8 balls and roll into a sausage shape.
- Pierce through the kofta length ways with a metal or wooden skewer, transfer to a metal rack and cover with a little olive oil.
- Cook in the oven for 20 minutes, turning half way.
- For the yogurt, combine all ingredients mentioned above and add salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve the koftas with pita, garlic yogurt and salad.
